Activities Director
Brief info
Mae, a Florida native, is a certified activities director and nursing assistant. She has worked at Cypress Cove Care Center since 2003 and has made several advancements in her career, from being a nursing assistant working with long-term and short-term care residents, to being the transportation coordinator, to currently being the activities director. She has held the activities director position for over 10 years. She takes pride in continuing her education through yearly conferences and being a member of the Florida Health Care Coordinator’s Association. Mae truly enjoys working with the elderly and making connections with them and their family members. When she is not motivating the staff or residents, you can find her teaching group fitness to continue that drive to help others to be their best selves. Her favorite quote is, "There is power in being silly and not caring that you are."
